Myristol

Myristol for animals (and Myristocol for humans) are joint health products developed by TRYAN Enterprises, LLC. These products were formulated by Dr. Gayle Trotter, former professor and joint health researcher at the Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

Myristol combines four top-quality ingredients (cetyl myristoleate fatty acid complex, methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), glucosamine HCl, and hydrolyzed collagen). All of these ingredients have scientific evidence of benefit in animal or human studies, and they were combined in Myristol to provide a comprehensive or broad-spectrum approach to joint health and joint disease.

An equine clinical trial has been completed on Myristol. Those research results were presented at the American Association of Equine Practitioners Meeting in 2007, and the manuscript of the study appears in the proceedings of that meeting. The research manuscript can also be viewed here in its entirety. See Clinical Trial Results.

A canine clinical trial began in early 2009. Results of that research study will also be made available when the study is complete.

Myristol is available in alfalfa-based equine pellets, chewable tablets for dogs, an unflavored powder for cats, and a tablet (Myristocol) for humans. All products are available through veterinarians and carry a money-back guarantee.
